Benedictines of Sacred Heart in Shawnee, OK take First steps in Developing a Unique Senior Housing Campus
The Benedictine monks of St. Gregory’s Abbey have selected 3Tents as their consultant and co-developer to transform their underutilized abbey land into a senior living community that offers a fulfilling life and is unique in the nationwide marketplace. The land comprises 500 acres of open, cleared space adjacent to their church and abbey campus. The project could be phased. The Monks would like to share in the income stream of the project.
The monks own and operate five other businesses on their abbey campus site: The Monk’s Farm, The Monk’s Marketplace, The Monk’s Beef, The Abbey Conference Center, and the Abbot Mark Braun Retreat House. For more information on St. Gregory’s Abbey please see their website.
